The Migration Heritage Project is an organisation in Wollongong which records, protects and promotes migrant heritage. In early 2012, the Migration Heritage Project held an exhibition at the Wollongong City Art Gallery. The focus of the exhibition was the experience of local migrants and their lives since arriving in Australia post war. This exhibition required an archival book to be designed and produced for the local, state and national records.
My role undertaken as the Publication Designer included client communication, printery liaison, layout design, photo selection and editing. The project was supported by the University of Wollongong, Powerhouse Museum, Wollongong City Gallery and Council. Co-creators: Eva Castle, Gregor Cullen and MHP.
